Hi!
Many Unreal Engine users have requested us to port our 3D models over to Unreal Engine Marketplace. First of all, we want to thank you all for liking our work! We think that it's a really good suggestion and we do have plans to port them over.
So which or what kind of assets would you like to see us selling at Unreal Engine Marketplace? Tell us! Your feedback is very valuable to us! Email us via info(at)meshtint(dot)com.
Looking forward to hear from you!
Regards,
Mesh Tint Team

While official Unreal Engine support would be fantastic, I’ve been able to import at least the Polygon Metalon without issue (though I have not tried root motion). Posting the workaround here, since this is the top Google result:
1. Import the desired Mesh Tint asset into a Unity project.
2. When the files are extracted, import the models and animations you need into your Unreal project. These are saved as FBX files under the FBX folder (e.g. “Polygonal Metalon/FBX”).
2a. I import the non-animated model first (e.g. “Polygonal Metalon.FBX”), and when I import the other animations.
2b. Even though each animation has its own skeletal mesh, I target the animations to the original skeletal mesh, and delete the ones imported with the animations. (This is the part I’m least sure about, and an official comment would be much appreciated).
3. Import the textures (the .psd files from, e.g. “Polygonal Metalon/Textures”). For each texture, make a new material where the texture is the input to Base Color.
4. Wire up all the animations, and you’re good to go.

Is there any update on porting your assets to unreal? I have several of your assets I would like to use there too.
Thanks!

Do this already! Your polygon creatures (non humanoid) would sell amazing as there are like 0 on the market!
